Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine!

Isaiah 60:1 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
60 Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

Ephesians 5:14 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
14 Therefore He says, Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall shine (make day dawn) upon you and give you light.

John 8:12 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
12 Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life.

Just as plants will die without light, so too will mankind suffer without the Light of the World at work in dark hearts. Arise, my Beloved out of your current death, and events beyond your control. I am rescuing you out of the deep waters. Let go and let me rescue your weary soul. The darkness, as you imagine, is NOT greater than My Light. In my light where no shadows exist, and rainbows of color dance on your path. In Me there is no darkness!  I am the light of the world.

Prayer: Father, forgive me for wandering from the light that you provide for my path.  Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path (Psalm 119: 105).  You have provided your Light which has come to abide in our hearts through Christ! Help me to abide in Christ, and in the Light He provides for me.  Thank you and praise you for your Son’s sacrifice, so that I might live in His Glorious Light which dispels the darkness.
