The Country Girl

When I was young, my brothers were overprotective of me and wanted to keep me safe until I found my one true love.

The Bridegroom

quickly interrupts, “You are protected by My high tower of redemption and surrounded by cedar walls, strong and secure like Solomon’s temple.”

The Country Girl

In boldness, the Country Girl declares, “I am the Bride of my Jesus. All grown up. I am a tower of passion for the Lord, and I provide protection and nourishment for others as they journey with the Savior. My Beloved is pleased with me and favors me.

The Beloved is Lord of the multitude, that grow in His many vineyards. The church of countless followers where He abides in them and they in Him. A beautiful vineyard of love.

The garden of my heart overflows with His love and my vineyards grow to the glory of the King. All my friends find their way to the Shepherd King, soon to be His bride.”

The Shepherd King

“Come, My Beloved, let’s ascend to the high places like the graceful gazelle and the strong stag. We will dwell together, united as one, for all eternity on the Mountain of Spices.”

Scripture for Today

“Joyfully the radiant bride turned to Him, the one altogether lovely, the chief among ten thousand to her soul, and with unconcealed eagerness to begin her life of sweet companionship with Him, she answered ‘Make haste, my beloved, and come quickly, like a gazelle or a young hart and take me to our waiting home upon the mountains of spices’” (Song of Solomon 8:14 AMPC).

“The Holy Spirit and the bride, the church believers say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take and drink the water of life without cost” (Revelation 22:17 AMP).

Prayer for You Today

Beloved of God, may you find your beloved Jesus and dwell with Him—both here on earth and in heaven as the perfect bride of Christ. Now and into eternity. Amen.
