The season of gratitude unfolds with fall in the air.
The sun’s bright rays warm the earth amid the autumn chill.
And rain waters from the heavens above, life within a multitude of drops.
The autumn breeze blows through the trees
As colored leaves fall to the ground.
And hope that springs within one’s heart as we witness God’s goodness unfold.
His loving presence draws us near to those with open hearts.
Countless blessings too great to count with boundless grace and love.
His faithfulness in troubled times and guidance in the storm.
God longs to hold each straying heart and give new life with hope and peace.
God’s bounty is for this day and the next.
A Thanksgiving Day feast with family and friends, the gifts on the table spread.
His provision great, with stomachs filled, and hearts overflowing with love and grace and joy.
Scripture for Today
“I will extol You, my God, O King;
And I will bless Your name forever and ever.
Every day I will bless You,
And I will praise Your name forever and ever.
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable” (Psalm 145:1-3 NKJV).
