Establish and or established are power packed words used in the Bible frequently.

According to Webster’s Revised Unabridged Dictionary:

establish means to make stable or firm; to fix immovably or firmly; to set (a thing) in a place and make it stable there; to settle; to confirm.”

When we accept Christ into our hearts, we grow and are established in Christ by God. As we abide in Him and trust Him daily, we are strengthened and confirmed to be His. Forever. Immovable. We take our place in him.

In the words of Solomon, “He is my Beloved and I am His. A divine union, strong and secure.

God’s Whisper

Come, my Beloved and abide. Let your roots be established in my divine word and everlasting truth. As you mature and grow you become stronger, settled, and established in Christ, Lover of your soul.

Trust me on this day when distractions, unrest or doubt prevails. Cease from feeble attempts to control the globe of your world. Be established through abiding, resting and trusting. Let your weak branch be strengthened and established in Christ through divine, unbroken communion and love. Walk with me daily My Beloved. Abide.

Scriptures for Today

“Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in union with Him reflecting His character in the things you do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin, having been deeply rooted in Him and now being continually built up in Him and becoming increasingly more established in your faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing in it with gratitude” (Colossians 2:6-7 AMP).

“Now it is God who establishes and confirms us in joint fellowship with you in Christ, and who has anointed us empowering us with the gifts of the Spirit; it is He who has also put His seal on us that is, He has appropriated us and certified us as His and has given us the Holy Spirit in our hearts as a pledge like a security deposit to guarantee the fulfillment of His promise of eternal life” (2 Corinthians 1:21-22 AMP).
