Creativity provides  diversion when immersed in stressful situations. Creativity is a gift we all possess. Then again the imagination must be nurtured.

Dictionary.com defines creativity as the ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, relationships, or the like, and to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations, etc.; originality, progressiveness, or imagination.

Creativity is taking knowledge we already possess and using it in a new way.

In other words, change things up. Step out of your comfort zone. Dig deep. Restart a hobby long forgotten.

We use creativity on a daily basis to solve problems, communicate and entertain ourselves.

Use some imagination in your everyday routine. What can you do differently during the Covid-19 pandemic?

Creative Ideas

  • Cooking

Try a new recipe. If you have difficulty incorporating vegetables in your diet, then focus on vegetable recipes. or fruit salads. Make enough ahead so that you can enjoy it for three or 4 days.

  • Gardening

Plant some flowers, nurture them and then enjoy them. Take an afternoon break and enjoy a glass of tea outside and enjoy some front porch sitting.

If you have never tried gardening, today might be a great day to start. Plant a container of petunias. They grow like weeds. Be sure you have a sunny spot. If you have shade, try impatience.

We come before you today. The world around us is filled with change, and many elements out of our control. We ask for your peace, love and guidance this day and everyday. Scripture for Today

Ephesians 2:10 Amplified Bible (AMP)

” For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].” (Ephesians 2:10 AMP).
