“I will give thanks and praise the Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell aloud all Your wonders and marvelous deeds.
I will rejoice and exult in you;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.
When my enemies turn back,
They stumble and perish before You.” (Psalm 9:1-3 AMP).
I must say I needed that scripture this morning. How about you? What a great way to kick start the day with praise. A jumpstart with a perfect focus: God’s glorious majesty and goodness. And the added bonus of being on the front porch with the garden view.
His loving presence and power made available to us all through the shed blood of Christ. Power to change into His likeness as we yield self-will. Power to change the world through prayer to the Almighty. Petitions answered in the name of Jesus in the wake of worship. Hallelujah.
Our God turns back the enemy as our battle cry of praise resounds.
Yes. Worship looks good on you. And God is worthy. Hallelujah. Amen.
Prayer for Today
Father, Use us this day to proclaim your goodness and salvation to a hurting world. Guide our steps and use us as you will. Help us to hear your voice and respond with obedience and praise. Thank you for the coming victory over this present darkness. Thank you for filling our hearts with praise to Your Name. In Jesus name, Amen.
God’s Whisper
My Beloved,
Come to the garden of My Presence. Let your heart be filled with praise. I Am. The problems of the world are ever-present. But I have overcome the world. Praise me in the morning and welcome My Presence. And yes, let praise be continually on your lips.
