May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.” (Romans 15:13 AMP).

The God of Hope
The God of Hope

Recently life took an unexpected turn. A friend sent me a text and told me she was praying Romans 15:13 over me. What a great prayer. And what a powerful Bible verse bursting with truth, promise and joy.

Then, over the course of a week, the verse flashed on Facebook by two more people.

Seeing this verse three times in succession is significant. Don’t you think? God must be trying to tell me something.

I am listening, Lord.

Meditation on these words lead to a humbled, receptive listening spirit. May I aspire to contain the words and walk with confidence in God’s promises. Yes, and amen.

God’s Whisper

My Beloved,

Come to the Garden of My Presence,

I am the God of hope when you have none. The God of peace when turmoil abounds. Your Guide on the path when you cannot find your way.

Come, and be filled with all the Holy Spirit offers. Comfort. Love. Rest. Direction.

Let me fill you with hope that quells fear and doubt. Pray for my will for this day and tomorrow.

A hope that fills your sails with joy for your journey.

Love,

The Father

Prayer for Today

Father, we come to you today with great needs. We pray for our country and those who hold office. Bring revival to America. God you know each need that is represented today. We pray that You, the God of hope, would fill us with all joy and peace. May we abound in hope and overflow with confidence in your promises. Amen
