The presence of the Lord is so wonderful that sometimes I forget I need to take that reality beyond the garden gate. Sometimes I need to ask myself if I am just enjoying God, but also spreading the Good News that Christ has redeemed our souls and we can abide in Him.

Scripture for Today

but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31 KJ21).

Praise ye the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in the firmament of His power! Praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him according to His excellent greatness!Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with the psaltery and harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise Him with stringed instruments and organs! Praise Him upon the loud cymbals; praise Him upon the high-sounding cymbals! Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord! Praise ye the Lord!” (Psalm 150: 1-6 KJ21).

Beyond the Garden Gate

God’s Whisper

My Beloved, come to the garden of My Presence in the cool of the morning.

As the breeze brushes your face allow my love to wash over you. My mercy and loving kindness are new every morning. Be renewed and refreshed.

Feel my touch on your cheek and in your heart.

Praise me in the garden. Know that you are dwelling in my omnipresence.

Praise me in noontime as the heat rises from the sun.

Take my omniscience beyond the safety of the garden gate and into the hurting world.

You My Beloved are my hands and feet.

Let me fill you mouth with My Words for the brokenhearted.

Fly on the wind beneath your wings—higher and further into the hedges and by ways.

I am sustaining you and empowering you, My beloved. Go beyond the garden gate. Let go of fear. Step out in faith to do my will this day in those you encounter in the world.
