2021 certainly needs to be a year of resilience following 2020 the year of uncertainties, ranging from COVID-19 to political unrest regardless of party preferences.
God’s grace has seen us through the difficulties and we are a nation of resilience. Problem solving at its best in creation of vaccines to fight a pandemic. And yes, now we face the issues of vaccinating the masses. Certainly solutions will arise because that’s what we do as a nation.
The political chaos has touched each of us.
May we return to the God of our Founding Fathers and find our resilience and strength once again from a God who is greater than all the problems we face individually and as a nation.
God’s Response
My Beloved,
Fear and doubt rise in your heart. But fear not. I am with you always.
Pray with fervency concerning each care: COVID-19, unrest in the nation.
Beloved, be reminded that when you cry out I send lightning, thunder and arrows are put to flight against the enemy.
Pray for liberty and justice for all. Pray that my righteousness would reign in the hearts of men and women. Darkness is a continual treat.
Pray for the nations. That My Light, Liberty and Justice would reign in the nations on the highest mountain and in the lowest valley.
Liberty must first live in the hearts of the people. My Liberty which sets captives free from bondage and enslavement.
Seek me with your whole heart. Your prayers are a sweet fragrance.
Prayer for Today
Father,
We seek you with grieved hearts concerning the events in our Capital. Forgive us as a nation where we have failed. We pray as one body in Christ that you would perfect all that concerns this nation and all people in this nation. Bring resilience established in revival to this our country, one Nation Under God. May liberty and justice live in the hearts and minds of Americans once again. Amen.
Scriptures for Today
“In my distress [when I seemed surrounded] I called upon the Lord
And cried to my God for help;
He heard my voice from His temple,
And my cry for help came before Him, into His very ears.” (Psalm 18:6 AMP).
“He sent out His arrows and scattered them;
And He sent an abundance of lightning flashes and confused and routed them [in defeat].” (Psalm 18:14 AMP).
