Don’t you love those unseasonably warm days in the midst of winter following a cold snap before spring really arrives.

We recently had a picture-perfect day. And yes, it did follow some record cold temperatures, snow flurries, and icy roads here in the Midwest.

Sometimes my bent is to complain about the erratic change of weather. But not this time. Actually, the changes provide nice variety, not to mention the frequent question of what to wear. And is a coat necessary today?

The picture-perfect day boasted of bright sunshine, not a trace of wind, and the temperature just right.

How much better can a day get? Not much. Add to that a touch of God’s presence and gratitude for the provision of a great day to enjoy His Creation.

Such a day calls for a walk in the pasture and down the alley that adjoins the picturesque woods.

Spring is bravely breaking winter dormancy. Early spring flowers boldly bud in the warm sunshine. Birds sing a grateful tune for the picture-perfect day following a harsh week of winter.

Yes, spring is on the way.

Are your having a picture-perfect day? The weather may not be perfect, but this is the day the Lord has made. And spring is on the way.

God’s Whisper

My Beloved,

Enter the garden of My Creation. Sing a new song of praise in my name. A tune that captures your faith, adoration and love for Me. A song of refreshment. A song that will carry your faith to a new height. Praise My Might and Power in the creation you enjoy this day. Let your heart sing, My Beloved. Sing at the top of your lungs. Be filled with My Joy.

Love, The Father

Scripture for Today

O sing to the Lord a new song;
Sing to the Lord, all the earth!
Sing to the Lord, bless His name;
Proclaim good news of His salvation from day to day.
Declare His glory among the nations,
His marvelous works and wonderful deeds among all the peoples.
” (Psalm 96:1-3 AMP).
