Creating a gratitude list is always a great exercise. But especially so when looking at the things often taken for granted.

Even a quick glance at those infinite items that we automatically expect, reveals a long list of God’s blessings.

God bestows His grace on us daily in counless ways: Life, health, breath, friends and family to name a few. Then there’s the sun rising and setting. And thankfully there’s food for nutrition and sustenance.

And the beauty that surrounds us:

Grratitude and praise fill my heart as I write today. God cares and loves us beyond measure. And grants us provision daily.

Then a heart heavy for those in Israel and the many in war zones. Certainly, God’s touch and divine intervention needed for peace.

Reminders to pray for the peace of Israel.

Scripture for Today

“Pray for peace in Jerusalem.
May all who love this city prosper.
O Jerusalem, may there be peace within your walls
    and prosperity in your palaces.
For the sake of my family and friends, I will say,
  “May you have peace.”
For the sake of the house of the Lord our God,
I will seek what is best for you, O Jerusalem”
(Psalm 122:6-9 NLT).

Today Prayer: A Powerful prayer that our Lord taught us to Pray

“Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name.Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven.Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen” (Matthew 6:9-13 KJV).
